Product Overview
The i.MX8MP OPTIMA SOM Evaluation Board is a feature-rich development platform designed to accelerate the evaluation, prototyping, and deployment of applications based on the i.MX8MP OPTIMA SOM. Powered by the NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor featuring a Quad-Core Arm® Cortex®-A53 CPU running up to 1.8 GHz, the board delivers a powerful combination of high performance, multimedia capabilities, and power efficiency for a wide range of embedded applications. The platform provides extensive connectivity and interface options, including Gigabit Ethernet, USB Host, MIPI DSI display, Dual MIPI CSI camera, RS485, CAN, audio, and multiple GPIOs, enabling rapid hardware validation, software development, and seamless application integration for industrial automation, HMI, medical, smart retail, edge AI, and IoT applications.
