More Information
  • Temperature and humidity sensors are among the most commonly used environmental sensors. These devices are used to provide the actual humidity condition within the air at any given point or in any given place. Such devices are commonly used in situations in which air conditions may be extreme or where air conditions need to be controlled due to varying reasons.
  • Calixto System’s temperature-humidity Sensor Probe is a fully digital and multi-point calibrated, low-cost, easy-to-use, highly accurate, digital humidity and temperature sensor. The sensor probe is ideal for environmental sensing and data logging and perfect for building weather stations or humidity control systems. There are only four lines that need to be hooked up in order to start using the sensor probe in a solution. One for VCC, one for GND, and two data lines for Modbus RTU communication.
  • It can be used in all IoT and Industrial IoT applications including HVAC, consumer goods, weather stations, test & measurement, automation, medical, and humidifiers. Especially performing well in an extreme environment like acid, alkali, corrosion, high temperature, and pressure.
Key Features:
  1. Dual Sensing: A Temperature-Humidity Sensor Probe integrates two sensors in one unit, allowing it to simultaneously measure temperature and relative humidity. This dual functionality provides a more comprehensive understanding of environmental conditions.
  2. Accuracy and Precision: These probes are known for their high accuracy and precision. They provide reliable data for various applications where maintaining specific temperature and humidity levels is critical.
  3. Wide Measurement Range: Temperature sensors in these probes typically cover a wide range, from sub-zero temperatures to high temperatures. Humidity sensors can measure relative humidity levels from 0% to 100%.
  4. Calibration and Longevity: Many probes are pre-calibrated, ensuring accurate measurements. They also have a long operational life, making them suitable for continuous monitoring.
  5. Digital Outputs: Many modern probes have digital outputs, making it easy to integrate them into data acquisition systems, microcontrollers, and IoT devices. Common output formats include I2C, SPI, and UART.
Applications:
  1. Weather Monitoring: Temperature-Humidity Sensor Probes are used in weather stations and meteorological instruments to collect data for weather forecasts, climate research, and environmental monitoring.
  2. Indoor Climate Control: In HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, these probes help maintain comfortable indoor conditions by regulating temperature and humidity levels.
  3. Food and Pharmaceutical Storage: Probes are crucial in food storage facilities and pharmaceutical warehouses to ensure that products are stored under appropriate environmental conditions to maintain freshness and efficacy.
  4. Environmental Monitoring: They play a role in environmental studies, tracking humidity and temperature variations in ecosystems, research projects, and wildlife preservation efforts.
  5. Industrial Processes: In manufacturing and industrial settings, these probes monitor conditions to ensure quality control and the efficient operation of machinery.
  6. Greenhouses and Agriculture: Temperature-Humidity Sensor Probes are used in greenhouses to create ideal growing conditions for plants and crops, optimizing growth and yield.
  7. Data Centers: In data centers, these probes are critical for maintaining optimal environmental conditions to prevent overheating and ensure the proper functioning of electronic equipment.
