More Information
  • Calixto System’s DSC-MQTT Bridge is an interface that allows DSC PowerSeries security systems to be controlled from any mobile or web application and to be easily integrated into the automation systems that support MQTT protocol.
  • DSC (Digital Security Controls) is one of the longest-standing security system manufacturers in the world. DSC has a wide array of alarm systems available to fit.
  • DSC-MQTT Bridge allows users to get notifications of alarm events, arm, disarm and send keypad commands through MQTT over wifi. This enables the integration of your DSC alarm system into a home automation platform such as OpenHAB, Home-assistant, etc.
  • Supported DSC Power Series pannels are PC585, PC1555MX, PC1565, PC5005, PC5010, PC5015, PC5020, PC1616, PC1808, PC1832, PC1864.
  • The DSC-MQTT Bridge serves as a translator, converting the status, events, and commands from DSC security panels into MQTT messages, making it possible to monitor and control security systems remotely via IoT applications.
This integration offers several key benefits:
  1. Remote Monitoring: By connecting DSC security systems to MQTT, users can remotely monitor their security status and receive real-time alerts or notifications through smartphones, tablets, or other IoT devices. This enhances convenience and peace of mind.
  2. Integration: MQTT's compatibility with a wide range of IoT devices and platforms means that DSC security systems can be seamlessly integrated into broader home automation and smart building solutions. This allows for more comprehensive and interconnected control.
  3. Scalability: The DSC-MQTT Bridge allows for easy scalability and expansion. Additional sensors or devices can be integrated into the MQTT ecosystem without the need for extensive rewiring or hardware modifications.
  4. Data Analytics: The data generated by DSC security systems can be analyzed within the MQTT ecosystem. This provides valuable insights into security patterns and enables the development of data-driven security strategies.
